ATENEA trabaja dentro de tus programas de diseño e ingeniería. Eso significa que ve tu trabajo, y por eso te explicamos sin rodeos qué vemos, qué no sale de tu computadora, a quién se lo mandamos para poder responderte, cuánto lo guardamos y cómo borrarlo cuando quieras. ATENEA works inside your design and engineering software. That means it sees your work, so here is a plain explanation of what we see, what never leaves your computer, who we send it to in order to answer you, how long we keep it and how to delete it whenever you want.

01Quiénes somosWho we are
ATENEA es un agente de inteligencia artificial para arquitectura, ingeniería y construcción. Funciona como un complemento (plugin) dentro de Revit, SketchUp, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, Civil 3D, Plant 3D y Navisworks, y como un panel web en app.ateneaio.com.
El responsable del tratamiento de los datos personales descritos en este aviso es Atenea, con domicilio en 20 Manhattan Ave, New York, NY 10025, Estados Unidos, y correo de contacto irving@ateneaio.com.
Este documento aplica al sitio ateneaio.com, al panel app.ateneaio.com y a todos los complementos de ATENEA instalados en tus programas.
ATENEA is an artificial intelligence agent for architecture, engineering and construction. It runs as a plugin inside Revit, SketchUp, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, Civil 3D, Plant 3D and Navisworks, and as a web panel at app.ateneaio.com.
The controller of the personal data described in this notice is Atenea, with address at 20 Manhattan Ave, New York, NY 10025, United States, and contact email irving@ateneaio.com.
This document applies to the site ateneaio.com, to the panel app.ateneaio.com and to every ATENEA plugin installed in your software.
02Qué datos tratamosWhat data we handle
Tratamos únicamente lo que hace falta para que ATENEA funcione, te podamos cobrar y podamos darte soporte:
- Datos de tu cuenta: correo electrónico, nombre si lo escribes, nombre de tu empresa, idioma, plan contratado y consumo.
- Lo que le escribes a ATENEA: tus instrucciones y las respuestas que te da, en el chat del panel y en el panel dentro de tu programa.
- Lo que ATENEA necesita leer de tu proyecto para hacer la tarea que le pediste (ver el punto 04).
- Archivos que tú subes a propósito: imágenes, PDF, Word, Excel, CSV y texto, cuando los adjuntas al chat.
- Datos técnicos: qué programa y versión usas, qué archivo tienes abierto, si el complemento está conectado, errores y tiempos de respuesta.
- Datos de facturación: los gestiona la pasarela de pagos; nosotros guardamos el identificador de tu suscripción y su estado, nunca el número de tu tarjeta.
No pedimos ni queremos datos sensibles (salud, religión, ideología, biometría). Por favor no los escribas en el chat.
We handle only what is needed for ATENEA to work, for us to bill you and for us to support you:
- Account data: email address, your name if you enter it, company name, language, plan and usage.
- What you write to ATENEA: your instructions and the answers it gives you, both in the panel chat and in the panel inside your software.
- What ATENEA needs to read from your project to do the task you asked for (see point 04).
- Files you deliberately upload: images, PDF, Word, Excel, CSV and text, when you attach them to the chat.
- Technical data: which software and version you use, which file you have open, whether the plugin is connected, errors and response times.
- Billing data: handled by the payment gateway; we store your subscription identifier and its status, never your card number.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data (health, religion, beliefs, biometrics). Please do not type it into the chat.
03Qué NO sale de tu computadoraWhat never leaves your computer
Esta es la diferencia más importante de ATENEA frente a las herramientas que trabajan en la nube: tus archivos de proyecto no se suben a ningún servidor.
El complemento vive dentro de tu programa y opera ahí, en tu máquina. No copiamos, no subimos y no guardamos:
- tus archivos .rvt, .rfa, .skp, .EDB, .sdb, .dwg, .nwd, .nwf ni ningún otro archivo de proyecto;
- tus bibliotecas de familias, plantillas ni carpetas de red;
- el contenido de tu disco duro.
Cuando ATENEA modifica tu modelo, lo hace ejecutando instrucciones dentro de tu programa, en tu computadora. El resultado se queda en tu archivo, y tú lo guardas o lo deshaces como cualquier otro cambio.
This is the most important difference between ATENEA and cloud-based tools: your project files are never uploaded to any server.
The plugin lives inside your software and operates there, on your machine. We do not copy, upload or store:
- your .rvt, .rfa, .skp, .EDB, .sdb, .dwg, .nwd, .nwf or any other project file;
- your family libraries, templates or network folders;
- the contents of your hard drive.
When ATENEA modifies your model, it does so by running instructions inside your software, on your computer. The result stays in your file, and you save or undo it like any other change.
04Qué viaja a nuestros servidoresWhat travels to our servers
Para poder entender lo que pides y resolverlo, sí viaja información, siempre por conexión cifrada (HTTPS/TLS):
- El texto que escribes.
- La lectura que ATENEA hace de tu modelo para esa tarea: por ejemplo los nombres de tus niveles y vistas, los tipos de familia cargados, cuántos elementos hay de cada categoría, los parámetros de los elementos que vas a modificar, o los resultados de un análisis. Son datos del modelo, no el archivo.
- Capturas de la vista cuando ATENEA necesita mirar lo que hizo para revisarlo. Se guardan en tu propia carpeta privada dentro de nuestro almacenamiento.
- Los archivos que tú adjuntas al chat.
- El registro técnico de cada tarea: pasos, errores, tiempos y costo.
In order to understand what you ask and carry it out, some information does travel, always over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS):
- The text you write.
- What ATENEA reads from your model for that task: for example the names of your levels and views, the loaded family types, how many elements there are per category, the parameters of the elements you are about to modify, or the results of an analysis. This is model data, not the file.
- Screenshots of the view when ATENEA needs to look at what it did in order to check it. They are stored in your own private folder inside our storage.
- Files you attach to the chat.
- The technical log of each task: steps, errors, timings and cost.
05Los modelos de IA de tercerosThird-party AI models
Queremos ser claros en esto, porque es la parte que casi nadie explica.
Nuestros servidores funcionan como intermediario: reciben tu petición, le añaden el contexto necesario (tus estándares, la memoria de tu proyecto, la lectura del modelo) y la envían a proveedores especializados de modelos de inteligencia artificial, que la procesan y devuelven la respuesta. Nosotros la convertimos en acciones dentro de tu programa.
Son un número reducido de proveedores de primer nivel, establecidos y con sede en Estados Unidos. Según la tarea reciben:

Trabajamos con ellos bajo contrato comercial de interfaz de programación (API), distinto de las versiones para consumidores: los datos que enviamos no se usan para entrenar sus modelos. Cada proveedor puede conservar temporalmente la información por motivos de seguridad y abuso, durante periodos cortos, y después la elimina.
We want to be clear about this, because it is the part almost nobody explains.
Our servers act as an intermediary: they receive your request, add the necessary context (your standards, your project memory, the model reading) and send it to specialist artificial intelligence model providers, which process it and return the answer. We then turn that answer into actions inside your software.
They are a small number of established, top-tier providers based in the United States. Depending on the task, they receive:

We work with them under commercial API contracts, different from consumer versions: the data we send is not used to train their models. Each provider may retain information temporarily for safety and abuse purposes, for short periods, and then deletes it.
06No entrenamos modelos con tu trabajoWe don't train models on your work
Ni ATENEA ni los proveedores con los que trabajamos usan tus proyectos, tus prompts, tus archivos ni tus modelos para entrenar inteligencia artificial.
Tu información se usa exclusivamente para: (a) responderte a ti, en ese momento; (b) recordar cómo trabajas dentro de tu propia cuenta (ver punto 07); y (c) facturarte y darte soporte.
Cuando mejoramos ATENEA, lo hacemos sobre señales agregadas y anónimas —si una tarea falló, cuánto tardó, cuántos pasos necesitó— nunca sobre el contenido de tu proyecto. Si alguna vez quisiéramos usar contenido real para mejorar el producto, te lo pediríamos antes y de forma expresa.
Neither ATENEA nor the providers we work with use your projects, your prompts, your files or your models to train artificial intelligence.
Your information is used exclusively to: (a) answer you, at that moment; (b) remember how you work inside your own account (see point 07); and (c) bill you and support you.
When we improve ATENEA, we do it on aggregated, anonymous signals —whether a task failed, how long it took, how many steps it needed— never on the content of your project. If we ever wanted to use real content to improve the product, we would ask you first and explicitly.
07Memoria y estándaresMemory and standards
ATENEA aprende cómo trabaja tu despacho para no pedirte lo mismo cada vez. Para eso guardamos, asociados a tu cuenta:
- Memoria: un resumen en texto de tus proyectos, preferencias y forma de trabajar, construido a partir de tus conversaciones.
- Estándares: lo que ATENEA leyó de tu archivo cuando le pediste "aprende mis estándares": tus plantillas de vista, tipos de cajetín, etiquetas, tablas y nomenclatura.
Esta memoria es tuya y solo tuya: no se comparte con otros clientes, no alimenta un modelo común y no se usa para nada que no sea atenderte a ti. Puedes verla, editarla y borrarla desde el panel, en la sección Memoria.
ATENEA learns how your firm works so it doesn't ask you the same things every time. For that we store, tied to your account:
- Memory: a text summary of your projects, preferences and way of working, built from your conversations.
- Standards: what ATENEA read from your file when you asked it to "learn my standards": your view templates, title block types, tags, schedules and naming.
This memory is yours and yours alone: it is not shared with other customers, it does not feed a shared model and it is not used for anything other than serving you. You can view it, edit it and delete it from the panel, in the Memory section.
08Contexto de la empresa (Drive)Company context (Drive)
Si tu empresa activa la función de Contexto, nos compartes una carpeta de Google Drive y ATENEA puede leerla para responder con los documentos de tu despacho.
- El acceso lo das tú, compartiendo la carpeta con nuestra cuenta de servicio. Puedes quitarlo cuando quieras desde tu propio Drive.
- Guardamos un índice de esos documentos (fragmentos de texto y su representación matemática) para poder buscarlos. Los archivos siguen siendo tuyos y siguen viviendo en tu Drive.
- ATENEA nunca modifica, mueve ni borra nada en tu Drive. Solo puede crear un documento nuevo si tu empresa lo autoriza, y aun así te lo propone y nada se crea hasta que tú haces clic.
- El acceso es por empresa: solo lo ven los miembros que tú invitas.
If your company turns on the Context feature, you share a Google Drive folder with us and ATENEA can read it to answer using your firm's documents.
- You grant the access by sharing the folder with our service account. You can revoke it at any time from your own Drive.
- We store an index of those documents (text fragments and their mathematical representation) so they can be searched. The files remain yours and stay in your Drive.
- ATENEA never modifies, moves or deletes anything in your Drive. It can only create a new document if your company authorises it, and even then it proposes it and nothing is created until you click.
- Access is per company: only the members you invite can see it.
09Renders e imágenesRenders and images
Cuando pides un render, la imagen de partida y tu descripción se envían al proveedor de generación de imágenes para producir el resultado. El render terminado se guarda en tu carpeta privada de nuestro almacenamiento para que puedas volver a verlo y descargarlo, y se borra cuando tú lo borras o cuando cierras tu cuenta.
Las imágenes que subes para modelar (fotos de fachada, planos escaneados) se tratan igual: se usan para esa tarea y viven en tu carpeta privada.
When you ask for a render, the source image and your description are sent to the image generation provider to produce the result. The finished render is stored in your private folder in our storage so you can view and download it again, and it is deleted when you delete it or when you close your account.
Images you upload for modeling (facade photos, scanned drawings) are treated the same way: they are used for that task and live in your private folder.
10PagosPayments
Los pagos los procesa una pasarela de pagos certificada (PCI DSS), líder del sector. Tus datos de tarjeta se escriben directamente en ella y nosotros nunca los vemos ni los guardamos. De tu suscripción conservamos el identificador, el plan, el estado y las fechas de renovación, que es lo que necesitamos para darte acceso y para facturar.
Payments are processed by a certified payment gateway (PCI DSS), an industry leader. Your card details are entered directly into it and we never see or store them. From your subscription we keep the identifier, the plan, the status and the renewal dates, which is what we need to grant access and to bill.
11Cookies y analíticaCookies and analytics
En ateneaio.com usamos herramientas de analítica web de terceros para entender qué páginas se visitan y dónde se traba la gente. Son datos de navegación, no contenido de tus proyectos.
En el panel app.ateneaio.com usamos cookies estrictamente necesarias para mantener tu sesión iniciada. Sin ellas no podrías entrar.
No usamos cookies de publicidad ni vendemos perfiles. Puedes bloquear las cookies desde tu navegador; las del panel son necesarias para iniciar sesión.
On ateneaio.com we use third-party web analytics tools to understand which pages get visited and where people get stuck. This is browsing data, not the content of your projects.
On the panel at app.ateneaio.com we use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. Without them you could not log in.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell profiles. You can block cookies in your browser; the panel's cookies are required to sign in.
12Quién más intervieneWho else is involved
Además de los proveedores de modelos del punto 05, el servicio se apoya en empresas de infraestructura, todas ellas proveedores establecidos del sector:

Para el contexto urbano (traer la ciudad a tu modelo) consultamos fuentes de datos abiertos de mapas y relieve. Esas consultas llevan una coordenada, nunca datos tuyos.
In addition to the model providers in point 05, the service relies on infrastructure companies, all of them established providers in their field:

For urban context (bringing the city into your model) we query open map and terrain data sources. Those queries carry a coordinate, never your data.

14SeguridadSecurity
- Todo viaja cifrado (HTTPS/TLS) y se guarda cifrado en reposo en nuestros proveedores.
- Cada cuenta solo puede leer sus propios datos: está impuesto por la base de datos, no solo por la aplicación.
- Tus archivos del chat viven en un depósito privado, con direcciones firmadas y temporales.
- El token que pegas en el complemento es tuyo y personal. No lo compartas: quien lo tenga puede usar tu cuenta. Puedes regenerarlo desde el panel.
- Cada tarea tiene un tope de gasto y se puede detener.
Ningún sistema es infalible. Si ocurriera una brecha que afecte tus datos personales, te lo comunicaríamos sin demora injustificada por correo.
- Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and is stored encrypted at rest at our providers.
- Each account can only read its own data: this is enforced by the database, not just by the application.
- Your chat files live in a private bucket, with signed, temporary URLs.
- The token you paste into the plugin is yours and personal. Do not share it: whoever holds it can use your account. You can regenerate it from the panel.
- Every task has a spending cap and can be stopped.
No system is infallible. Should a breach affecting your personal data occur, we would notify you by email without undue delay.
15Tus derechosYour rights
Puedes, en cualquier momento y sin costo:
- Acceder a los datos que tenemos sobre ti y pedir una copia.
- Rectificar lo que esté mal.
- Borrar tus conversaciones, tu memoria, tus archivos o tu cuenta entera.
- Oponerte o limitar ciertos tratamientos, y revocar el consentimiento que nos hayas dado.
- Llevarte tus datos en un formato legible.
Muchas de estas cosas las puedes hacer tú mismo desde el panel. Para el resto, escríbenos a irving@ateneaio.com y responderemos en un máximo de 30 días naturales.
Según dónde vivas, te amparan el Reglamento General de Protección de Datos (Europa), la Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares y sus derechos ARCO (México) o las leyes de privacidad de tu estado (Estados Unidos). Si crees que no atendimos bien tu solicitud, puedes acudir a la autoridad de protección de datos que te corresponda.
At any time and free of charge, you may:
- Access the data we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your conversations, your memory, your files or your entire account.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw any consent you gave us.
- Take your data with you in a readable format.
You can do many of these yourself from the panel. For the rest, write to irving@ateneaio.com and we will reply within 30 calendar days at most.
Depending on where you live, you are covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (Europe), Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its ARCO rights, or your state's privacy laws (United States). If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may contact the data protection authority that applies to you.
16Transferencias internacionalesInternational transfers
Nuestros proveedores operan principalmente en Estados Unidos, así que tu información puede tratarse ahí. Cuando la ley lo exige, usamos las cláusulas contractuales tipo u otros mecanismos reconocidos para proteger esa transferencia.
Our providers operate mainly in the United States, so your information may be processed there. Where the law requires it, we use standard contractual clauses or other recognised mechanisms to protect that transfer.
17Menores de edadMinors
ATENEA es una herramienta profesional. No está dirigida a menores de 16 años y no recogemos sus datos a sabiendas. Si detectamos una cuenta de un menor, la cerramos y borramos sus datos.
ATENEA is a professional tool. It is not aimed at people under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we detect a minor's account, we close it and delete their data.
18Condiciones de usoTerms of use
Qué te damos
Te damos una licencia personal, no exclusiva y no transferible para usar ATENEA mientras tu suscripción esté activa, dentro de tu organización y para tus proyectos.
Lo que haces es tuyo
Los modelos, planos, tablas, cálculos y renders que produces con ATENEA son tuyos. No reclamamos ningún derecho sobre tus proyectos ni sobre lo que generes con la herramienta.
Tu responsabilidad profesional
ATENEA es un asistente, no un profesional firmante. La revisión, la validación y la firma del trabajo siguen siendo tuyas. Esto vale especialmente para el cálculo estructural, el cumplimiento normativo y todo lo que afecte la seguridad de una obra. Verifica siempre los resultados antes de usarlos.
Uso aceptable
- No compartas tu token ni tu cuenta con terceros.
- No intentes revender, revertir ni extraer el funcionamiento interno del servicio.
- No lo uses para nada ilegal ni para vulnerar derechos de terceros.
- No subas contenido sobre el que no tengas derechos.
Planes, pagos y cancelación
Los planes se cobran por adelantado, mes a mes, y se renuevan solos hasta que los canceles. Puedes cancelar cuando quieras desde el panel: conservas el acceso hasta el final del periodo pagado. El consumo de inteligencia artificial se mide por cuenta y tiene un límite por plan.
Disponibilidad y límites
Trabajamos para que el servicio esté siempre disponible, pero no podemos garantizar que nunca falle ni que un resultado sea perfecto. En la medida en que la ley lo permita, nuestra responsabilidad total se limita al importe que nos hayas pagado en los 12 meses anteriores.
Terminación
Puedes cerrar tu cuenta cuando quieras. Nosotros podemos suspender una cuenta que incumpla estas condiciones, avisándote salvo que la ley o la seguridad lo impidan.
What we give you
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use ATENEA while your subscription is active, within your organisation and for your projects.
What you make is yours
The models, drawings, schedules, calculations and renders you produce with ATENEA are yours. We claim no rights over your projects or over anything you generate with the tool.
Your professional responsibility
ATENEA is an assistant, not a licensed professional. Reviewing, validating and signing the work remain yours. This applies especially to structural analysis, code compliance and anything affecting the safety of a building. Always verify results before using them.
Acceptable use
- Do not share your token or your account with third parties.
- Do not attempt to resell, reverse engineer or extract the inner workings of the service.

Plans, payments and cancellation
Plans are billed in advance, month by month, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the panel: you keep access until the end of the paid period. AI usage is metered per account and capped by plan.
Availability and limits
We work to keep the service always available, but we cannot guarantee it will never fail or that a result will be perfect. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, giving you notice unless the law or security prevents it.

If we change something important —for example a new provider or a different use of your data— we will update the date above and notify you by email or inside the panel before it takes effect.
